We are an AI-based platform, but not a catch-all like Deepseek, Chat GPT or others. MENUWIZ AI is a small language model using an open-source base model and RAG training from proprietary data sources. Our service is unique and one of a kind, offering high efficacy in translating and inferring data about cuisine. Using translations vetted by culinary professionals and linguists we can guarantee that our library of culinary terminology is one of the best in the world. We also partner with restaurants and eateries to offer custom designed and translated menus in real life and in-app. Our partners enjoy native-level English translations packed with delicious nuance and custom in-app restaurant pages. While MENUWIZ is your perfect companion for translating menus, grocery store labels, and ingredient lists, pointing the MENUWIZ camera at a street sign won't get you very far! Our technology goes in depth to provide ONLY the most accurate translations for the most minute areas of dining and cooking, and we are proud of our lazer focus.

In theory, MENUWIZ is smart enough to handle labels at farmers markets and grocers, or to decode the ingredients on the back of your ramen packet. However, we are optimized for dining-out scenarios and work best when you are in a restaurant. MENUWIZ isn't very effective for translating non-food related terminology, so we don't recommend relying on it to ask for directions!

If you've ever purchased a travel E-sim or travel sim card and enjoyed several gigabytes or days of data usage while on the go, you've used our system! In the same way, we monitor data usage for your selected plan. Just like data plans, you can top up with additional credits purchased through the App Store or Google Play if you need to scan more. When you buy a subscription through your tour provider or one of our partners, you can select a subscription plan based on how long you'll be traveling and how often you expect to dine out. Our partners get a part of the revenue, and the rest comes back to us to make sure MENUWIZ continues to operate smoothly.

By taking advantage of location settings on your phone, we can translate even more efficiently by inferring where in the globe you're eating and quickly narrow down likely menu items. This makes processing times faster and language identification more accurate, using up less of your credit line, so allowing location access is highly recommended!

Equity is at the core of MENUWIZ. We believe a dining experience needs to be beneficial for the people making and serving the food as well as those eating it. That's why subscribers can use MENUWIZ in any restaurant, even those who choose not to partner with us. We give diners the tools to order in your language with text-to-speech to ease the burden on your waitstaff. Our translations make sure they know what they're getting before it comes out of the kitchen (or sent back!) However, we also of course welcome restaurant partners! Our dedicated partners team can translate your menu in a selection of languages and even provide simple graphic design services. All of our partners receive in-app priority, including custom photos from your real restaurant if desired, owner-approved human (not AI!) created translations and descriptions, and dedicated restaurant pages to show off your logo and flair. Whether you operate a chain of stores nationwide or one mom-and-pop diner, we have you covered. When your restaurant needs to change its menu or details, no problem. We can handle it hands-on with you as we work on rolling out do-it-yourself page management for our partners.
